bio

I have been working in cinema for over 15 years, standing out in more than 24 short films as a cinematographer. Among them are The Pleasure is All Mine, screened worldwide and awarded at 30 festivals, also Instant, which received best cinematography awards at Mostra Clandestina and CineAustral Festival in 2024, and Terminal Happiness, selected in Camerimage 2020.

I began professionally in the field of weddings, photographing alongside my parents, who worked with social events. In 2009, I started my degree in Film Studies, when I also began working as a camera assistant in the audiovisual market.

I hold a Master’s degree in Film Arts, with a specialisation in cinematography, from the European program Kino Eyes (Portugal, Estonia, and Scotland, 2018–2020), with a full scholarship.

Recently, I shot the feature film Dia Útil, currently in post-production. I wrote, shot, and directed the short film GAITA, also in post-production, funded by Catarinense Film Funding. Also, I signed the second unit cinematography of major projects such as Na Linha do Fogo (Globoplay).

In addition to these projects, I am dedicated to commercial, authorial, and teaching work.
